Former One Direction singer Harry Styles has confirmed he will act as both host and musical guest on the US sketch programme Saturday Night Live. The appearance is scheduled for 14 March and will mark his second time performing “double duty” on the long-running show, following a similar role in 2019.

The announcement comes ahead of the release of Styles’ fourth studio album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, which is due to be released next Friday. The singer shared the news with his followers on Instagram, posting an image showing his name listed as both host and musical guest, alongside a caption referencing New York City, where the programme is filmed. US broadcaster NBC later confirmed the booking.
The 32-year-old has recently attracted attention following several high-profile announcements linked to his new music. His latest single, Aperture, became his first release in four years and debuted at number one on the UK Official Singles Chart. Styles has also announced a global tour beginning in May, with dates across Europe, the Americas and Australia, and is set to perform at the Brit Awards in Manchester this weekend.

Styles began his solo career after One Direction went on hiatus in 2016.
