Away from the screen, Larter has also made significant changes in her personal life. In 2022, she and her family relocated from Los Angeles to Idaho, a move she described as calming and grounding. She said rural life has offered a welcome contrast to the pressures of Hollywood and has provided an ideal environment for raising her children.
