Emails reveal Sarah Ferguson’s travel requests linked to Jeffrey Epstein visit

Date:

Emails recently uncovered in documents connected to Jeffrey Epstein suggest that Sarah Ferguson requested travel arrangements funded by the financier shortly after his release from prison in 2009. According to the correspondence, the former Duchess of York planned a visit to New York and asked that the cost of her flights be covered. The emails reportedly show that the request was made through her office soon after Epstein completed a 13-month sentence for soliciting prostitution.

The messages indicate that Ferguson initially travelled on a business-class ticket but later sought an upgrade to first class shortly before departure. Correspondence from Epstein’s staff suggests that arrangements were being made to accommodate the request, with his team exploring available flights and booking options. The reported itinerary involved expensive fares on a British Airways service between New York and London.

Further emails suggest that Ferguson’s daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, were expected to accompany their mother on the trip. Staff were asked whether their travel costs could also be covered, with suggestions that the princesses might fly in club class. According to the documents, the combined cost of the flights could exceed $30,000.
