Carrie Johnson has shared images from a short winter break in the Cayman Islands, where she travelled with her husband, former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, and their four children. The family spent four days in the Caribbean, offering a contrast to what Johnson described as a difficult January marked by illness earlier in the month.

In photographs posted on social media, Johnson appeared relaxed during the trip, which included beach scenes and family moments. She noted that although the holiday was brief, it accounted for much of her January photo collection. The images showed the family enjoying the island setting, with Johnson accompanied by their youngest child, Poppy, who is eight months old.
In a separate post shared in December, Johnson reflected on Poppy’s early months, recalling a challenging pregnancy marked by flu and pneumonia. She said the start of 2025 had been unsettling but later became one of the most positive periods of her life following Poppy’s birth at 39 weeks.

Johnson also explained that she intends to reduce how much of her children’s lives are shared online as they grow older. She said this decision was motivated by concerns over privacy and public recognition, adding that she hopes the approach will help protect her children while still allowing her to share occasional family updates.
