Charli XCX has described Kylie Jenner as “phenomenal” in The Moment, a new mockumentary inspired by the singer’s real-life touring experiences. The film is directed and co-written by Aidan Zamiri and features Charli playing a version of herself navigating the pressures of fame and performance.

Speaking to Deadline, Charli highlighted Jenner’s cameo appearance, noting that she convincingly portrayed herself on screen. She said Jenner fully understood the tone of the project and praised her acting ability. The mockumentary also includes appearances from several well-known figures, contributing to its self-referential style.
The cast features a range of recognisable names, including Rosanna Arquette, Jamie Demetriou, Hailey Benton Gates and Alexander Skarsgård. Charli also singled out Rachel Sennott and a brief cameo from Julia Fox, describing the ensemble as a strong addition to the film’s creative world.

Elsewhere, Charli reflected on her connection to the character she plays, acknowledging similarities between her on-screen portrayal and her real personality.
