The series aims to guide couples through common relationship struggles, including communication issues, infidelity, financial challenges, and mismatched expectations. Despite offering guidance, Shetty acknowledges that there is no perfect advice for couples. He told Extra: “It’s messy. I think we all want truth from our partners, but then we can’t handle it.” He emphasised that intimacy is never static, and relationships require ongoing effort and understanding.

Shetty, who has been married to his wife Radhi since 2016, described relationships as an evolving dynamic in which partners can continue to surprise each other. Speaking to People, he explained that even after years together, couples may still uncover new layers of vulnerability and openness, highlighting the importance of continual learning and connection.

A central theme of the podcast is the value of honest and open communication. Shetty outlined strategies to shift conversations from accusatory or defensive exchanges to collaborative dialogue that deepens emotional intimacy. He added: “We don’t want to have difficult conversations to win. We want to do this because we want to deepen our connection.”
