Lisa Rinna has spoken about her challenging experience working alongside Robert Kelker-Kelly during their time on the long-running American soap opera Days of Our Lives. In a recent recollection, the actor described tensions on set while filming scenes together in the early 1990s.

Rinna said that filming romantic scenes with her co-star often felt uncomfortable, particularly when she felt pressure during production. She recalled receiving what she described as the “silent treatment” if she did not respond to certain expectations during filming, adding that she found his behaviour unpredictable at times.
According to Rinna, the working atmosphere could vary significantly from day to day, which she said made the experience exhausting. Reflecting on that period of her career, she said she regretted not speaking out more firmly at the time, explaining that she was relatively young and did not wish to jeopardise a role she valued.

Rinna also recalled that Kelker-Kelly eventually left the programme unexpectedly, after which additional security measures were reportedly introduced for some cast members for a short period. Both actors departed the series in 1995, although Rinna later returned to the show on several occasions in later years.
