Two 20-year-old men suffered stab wounds, while a 22-year-old sustained slash injuries to his face. An 18-year-old was also attacked. Emergency services, including paramedics, BTP and Surrey Police, attended the scene, and authorities later confirmed that none of the injured were in life-threatening or life-changing conditions. Royal Holloway University of London confirmed that three of those injured are students at the university.

A man believed to be in his 30s has been arrested and remains in police custody. Investigators believe the violence involved two separate groups who were not previously known to each other, and have described the incident as isolated. Police also said that at least two other individuals may have left the scene before officers arrived.
