In a recent interview with Achtung, Loudon reflected on how her approach to fashion was influenced by her father from an early age. She recalled being taken shopping in the boys’ section as a child, noting that menswear often offered better quality and longer-lasting designs. Loudon also commented on the slower trend cycles in menswear, suggesting they make the sector less vulnerable to fast fashion, despite growing industry pressures. She described her own preference for gender-neutral clothing.
Loudon also highlighted several meaningful items in her wardrobe that reflect her family connections. These include a wool jumper given to her by her father during her teenage years, a vintage Versace corset inherited from her mother, and accessories created by close friends. She additionally credited her stepmother, Rachel Weisz, with introducing her to the work of British designer Ossie Clark, whose pieces she now collects.
